PC Crafting in MCPE

 

PC Crafting will be added to Minecraft Pocket Edition in the future. This will allow for expansive change in items crafting, and what inventory is available in game (as it develops and approaches the PC version) This will be a necessary change for many items that will come to Minecraft PE.  It will most likely come as an optional setting that users can change as they please.

The PC crafting model was one of the unique features that made Minecraft a special game and experience to many players when it became available to the public. Since the beginning, the Minecraft Pocket Edition community has requested that PC crafting be added into MCPE. An exclusive crafting system was created for Minecraft Pocket Edition due to the method of input (touch screens). Many players still crave the PC crafting system for their mobile devices. Here’s what the crafting menu looks like on PC:
There’s a 3 x 3 grid that the player can drag and drop materials in specific patterns and quantities to craft an item or block. All items are crafted through this menu, which is unavailable in Minecraft Pocket Edition. All recipes and combinations are handled automatically in MCPE, with the tap of a button to confirm a craft.
